In this textured painting, scratched yellow lines reveal a face emerging from dark tones—a symbol of the “visible invisibility” of those trapped in robotic routines. Men in suits and ties, moving day after day through the city, lost in the monotony without a clear purpose.
Inspired by my observations in Paris and across Europe, this work captures the paradox of these urban workers: ever-present yet unseen, their identities blurred by the relentless pace of city life.
Each scratch, each layer of oil, echoes the tension between presence and absence, individuality and anonymity—a silent testament to the overlooked stories within the urban machine.
